Taking place at the Genting Hotel, at Birmingham’s Resorts World entertainment complex, the networking event offers the opportunity for IAAF members to meet against the backdrop of the first in-person aftermarket exhibition since before the Covid pandemic.
Mark Field, chief executive officer of IAAF, said:
“Key to IAAF membership is the opportunity for businesses to come together and as part of our upscaled events calendar for 2022, we wanted to host a networking event at the earliest opportunity. It’s also an opportunity for us to thank members for their continued support of the Federation, as we embark on an accelerated modernisation programme and intense lobbying activity in a post-Brexit era.”
The networking event is hosted by IAAF on June 8th, with drinks and dinner provided to the federation’s members, which feature a diverse roster of businesses, from blue-chip companies in the automotive industry, to independent garages and motor factors.
IAAF’s new networking event in June precedes its annual conference in December which rounds off the Federation’s expanded events calendar, celebrating the industry and its work throughout the past two years.
Members will receive an exclusive invite from IAAF.
