DeVilbiss' parent company, Carlisle Fluid Technologies, opened the doors to the new UK Customer Demonstration and Training Center in Bournemouth. The refresh of the old training center was made with the intention to modernize its existing capabilities and aligning the laboratory with the company’s newest acquired technologies.
The new Customer Demonstration and Training Center has over 300m2 surface with two meeting rooms and six different technology areas, containing the Carlisle Fluid Technologies’ latest products and equipment: Sealants and Adhesives, Powder application booth, Foam application booth, Liquid manual application booth, Liquid automatic application booth with a conveyor belt to the curing BGK oven.
All the areas in the center are equipped with windows to allow visitors safe observation of all the activities in the spray booths. Furthermore, its Hi-tech AV system with live streaming capabilities enables visitors to attend demonstrations and training sessions remotely as well as in person, making it available to all collaborators through the EMEAI region and globally. The intention behind this investment was to help customers experience the laboratory without the need to travel, allowing them the same benefits of upgrading and improving their production installations.
On the 29th of September 2021 Carlisle Fluid Technologies held the live-streamed inauguration of the Bournemouth Customer Demonstration and Training Center and demonstrated the AV system’s capabilities. On the event the company presented its facilities through six different technology workshops. The event was opened by the European Sales and Marketing Director, Bernard Choquel and closed with the final word by the Carlisle Fluid Technologies President, Fred Sutter. The workshops were presented by the company’s technology experts.
We believe this Center is essential to demonstrate the diverse and efficient product ranges to distributors, end users and collaborators. In addition, the center is also dedicated for organized training sessions to continue developing and improving the finishing community’s knowledge and expertise.
