Easy2Recruit launched in June 2023 and since then the company has been helping automotive businesses to access skilled overseas workers.
“We have the key to solving the skills gap,” said Ambi Singh, CEO of Easy2Recruit. “We help garages to recruit technicians from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and India. The garage owner just needs a licence from the Home Office, which we can help them obtain, and perform a selection video interview with the candidate. We then handle all the pastoral care for the overseas worker, including visa application flight booking and accommodation. Ultimately, we prepare the route for the first day at work.”
Alongside the core offering, Easy2Recruit also offers Student2Skill, which pairs international students studying in the UK with garages looking for part-time workers. Ambi said: “We’re pairing mature international students with UK garages for part-time work within the UK automotive sector, focusing on roles like tyre fitting. Many will already have work experience and advanced academic qualifications but are eager to learn trades too and can offer a wealth of skills and capability to the UK workforce.”
Alongside these innovative programmes, Easy2Recruit are also the authorised recruitment supplier for the National Body Repair Association (NBRA).
