Eden Tyres and Servicing has become the first Castrol SERVICE workshop in the UK to obtain independent certification by TÜV Rheinland, a global leader in third-party testing and certification. The new certification scheme for Castrol SERVICE workshops helps participating businesses optimise operational standards and further build customer trust.
Castrol has set out an objective to become the market leader in branded workshops. At present, over 220 workshops in the UK carry ‘Castrol SERVICE’ branding, having met a range of core quality and customer service criteria. This new certification builds on these foundations and raises the benchmark to an even higher level.
To become certified, participating workshops will receive information from Castrol on what is required, and after a positive self-assessment, they will be passed for an audit. TÜV Rheinland will then assess operational procedures at the workshop across five key business areas: business organisation; workshop appearance; process and transparency; technical and equipment; and health, safety, and environment.
After a successful audit, workshops receive a Castrol Certified Partner certificate, as well as a certification shield for display at the workshop. A range of online assets can be used on the website, on social media, and on the workshop’s ‘Google My Business’ profile for three years.
The independent certification will assure customers that they will be receiving a quality service, leading to increased customer footfall and improved trust and loyalty.
Jim Nicholls, Retail Director at Eden Tyres and Servicing said: “At Eden, we’ve always been passionate about providing our customers with the very best levels of service. By becoming independently certified by TÜV Rheinland, our customers can be further reassured that they will receive a transparent, high-quality experience. It’s great to have become the first Castrol SERVICE workshop in the UK to receive this certification, a distinction that I’m sure will benefit our business.”
