Matt Cleevely: Cleevely Motors & EV
After joining the family business as a newly qualified technician in 1999, Matt worked hard to keep-up with modern technology in the motor industry. Renewable energy was an important part of his home-life, having installed solar, battery storage and rainwater harvesting, he wanted to professionally know more about electric vehicles. After a poor buying experience with dealers buying his first Nissan Leaf in 2017, he set-about creating the UK’s first knowledgeable EV independent specialists. Now, occupying 10,000sqft on Lansdown Industrial Estate, Cheltenham, Cleevely EV offer education, sales, repairs and servicing to all makes and models of EV. The workshop also has 30kW of solar, continuing Matt’s love of renewable energy.
