Let's dig deep and take a special look at UK Garage and Bodyshop Event 2024 #UKGBE24. This event is returning for a second edition and it's being held on 5th and 6th June at the NEC Birmingham....... and it's bigger than ever!
The gathering could well prove to be invaluable to people in all areas of the industry. Over the space of two days there will be 180+ suppliers bringing the automotive aftermarket industry together under one roof. With the latest and most up-to-date products and equipment on display, and with both days being jam-packed with live demonstrations, this years UK Garage and Bodyshop Event 2024 is one not to be missed!
For me, this event is all about the brand new trio: Customisation, Refurbishing and Detailing Zone. This is such an amazing opportunity to get hands-on with products that I personally have previously only managed to catch a glimpse of online. Not to mention the 19+ new, never seen before products being relised at the event . I always like to see what products are like “in the flesh”. Also, it is always great to see the live demonstrations taking place – real-life processes happening in front of my eyes in real-time. I just love it! These combined allow me to see/witness/touch/feel more products and processes over the 2 days all under one roof, than I would otherwise possibly see in a year. Taking this into account, when I look at time management it is far better for me to take some time out from my day-to day job to attend an event such as this than it would be trying to get product demonstrations separately throughout the year. Not to mention the face-to-face meetings and networking opportunities that come from attending an event such as this.
Collision Repair Live
As I have already mentioned above there with be live demonstrations happening over the 2 days at this years UK Garage and Bodyshop Event 2024 . These will be live, short and sharp demonstrations from leading suppliers to the UK repair sector. These will ensure bodyshop visitors get first-hand experience of the latest products and techniques to help them perform their tasks more effectively and efficiently. At the event there will be a range of sessions covering paint and sprayguns; polishing; plastic repair; dent pulling; and welding (including plastic welding), to name a few! Attendees will have the perfect opportunity to really get up close and see the latest techniques first hand!
Bodyshop Training Hub
In association with Bodyshop Magazine, these live sessions will provide the latest updates, advice and technical innovations for the UK’s Collision Repair sector. This will cover ADAS; body repair; EV repair; paint; refinishing; BS10125; and much more. The topics will be presented by renowned industry figureheads and experts, ensuring you are getting the best information available to the sector.
Bodyshop BUZZ in association with THE REFINISHING CREW
Bodyshop Magazine is inviting the whole UK collision repair sector and supply chain to an industry gathering with colleagues, suppliers and customers at a FREE networking party that will take place during happy hour at the NEC on the first evening of event
The BODYSHOP BUZZ drinks reception, in association with The Refinishing Crew, will run from 4:00pm-6:00pm in the Bodyshop Magazine Lounge (G18) and the adjacent Bodyshop Training Hub (H18) in the centre of the main area dedicated to the body repair and refinish sector.
BODYSHOP BUZZ will be the networking event for bodyshop owners and managers, technicians and support staff, and everyone from the repair sector supply chain during the #UKGBE2024 trade show.
Paint & Spray Live
New for UK Garage and Bodyshop Event 2024, Masterflo UK is bringing a life size, fully ventilated spray studio to just like the one at Automechanika Birmingham 2023.
This feature offers an opportunity for visitors to witness paint and spray demonstrations, seeing the latest paints and sprayguns in action within a operational spraybooth. Visitors will be able to get in the fully ventilated pop-up studio, get kitted up and witness real life spray guns and paint up close.
Detailing Hub
As the education partner and creator of Detailing Live, The UK Detailing Academy will be in attendance with a whole host of interactive exhibition, live demonstrations, workshops and discussions with leading industry experts. Covering car wash and care, paint correction, leather repair, scratch & chip repair, paint protection film (PPF), wrapping, brake calipre painting and more, the format will serve as a dynamic learning and networking platform to experience first-hand the latest products, trends and technologies event. This will include practical demos and discussions about the challenges and opportunities faced by the sector.
This extraordinary event has so much happening that in this article I have only scratched the surface on parts of the refinishing aspects of the event. UK Garage and Bodyshop event 2024 also includes such much more, from all areas of the aftermarket automotive industry.
