The ‘eXtra’ reward system has proven successful with garages since its introduction in 2009. For example, in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, more than 20,000 garages have collected ‘eXtra’ points when purchasing Bosch spare parts from their wholesale partners. In Germany, more than 90% of garages have already registered for the reward system. A total of 36,145 rewards were redeemed in Europe in 2021.
‘eXtra’ gives garage owners the opportunity to collect points every time they purchase a qualifying Bosch product from any participating distributor. These points can then be transferred into a range of high-value rewards – covering technology (for example, mobile phones), Bosch home and garden appliances, toys and games.
The programme is now fully online and automated, allowing the effortless collection and redeeming of points easier. Garage owners across the UK can easily sign up to the scheme at www.extra-rewards.co.uk, or at www.extra-rewards.ie for those in the Republic of Ireland.
Once registered, the system awards points for every qualified Bosch automotive product purchased from selected distributors**. The total balance of collected points per garage is updated daily and can be tracked easily through an online portal. Points can be redeemed for rewards at any time, with each pound spent returning one reward point.
Rewards can be claimed for purchases throughout the Bosch automotive range of products. These include wiper blades, lambda sensors, brake pads and discs, filters, ignition coils, fuel pumps and much more.
