The courses aim to help technicians to fit their learning and development around their needs, while maximising billable time in the workshop. There are basic and advanced options, and package discounts are available.
AutoEducation is part of the LKQ Euro Car Parts workshop solutions division, which oversees the provision of training and equipment in the independent aftermarket. The 2021 classroom schedule will help to bring more than 550 new hybrid-trained technicians up to level two and three standard, and will upskill another 670 to level four, as well as featuring courses on diagnostics and MOT training, and business support and customer service skills.
Signing up for AutoEducation is free. Courses can be completed and paid for on a one-off basis, or unlimited access with a 12–month gold membership costs £1,499. Courses are fully accredited by the IMI and City & Guilds.
