An increasingly common issue on Ford vehicles with 2.0 Ecoblue TDCi Engines is the seizing of injectors, often prematurely due to water ingression from the Scuttle Panel, which has continued to plague technicians and vehicle owners alike. Further to this, any maintenance or repair work that requires the removal of the cam shaft/cover or cylinder head also requires injector removal prior to service.
The GO434 Ford Injector EcoBlue Removal Set from Sykes-Pickavant provides an innovative solution for the removal of seized injectors from this tricky engine. Extraction can be completed directly on the vehicle without engine disassembly and both intact and broken injectors are simple to remove. Ideal for use on older models where injectors prove more difficult to remove, or those that have been in place on the vehicle for a longer period of time, the Injector Removal Set makes extraction quick and easy.
The GO434 features a fork removal tool which can recover injectors whole if not seized allowing them to be reused when required. Thrust screws are also provided in the kit for extraction where the main body of the injector has been removed or in the event of the injector breaking during removal whilst in its seat. For considerably seized injectors, the kit can also be used with the GO1015 Mechadraulic cylinder for extra force.
