PPG Refinish UK & Ireland announced the launch of their new Automotive Refinish Training Program 2024 for it’s PPG and NEXA AUTOCOLOR brands which will be available via face-to-face practical courses and online training sessions.
In order to be optimally prepared for the technical challenges of accident repairs, employees must constantly undergo further training. The changes in technology of automotive refinish painting demand high technical standards from body and paint shops. With this in mind, PPG now offers a wide range of training courses for all those who want to be at the forefront of automotive refinish. PPG Training participants can now experience knowledge transfer at the highest level, both face to face, on site in our Training Centre and online via live Online Training.
Leading the Training Program for PPG is Chris Hay, Training Manager UK & Ireland. Chris has over thirty years’ experience in refinish and is key to the development and delivery of the new training curriculum,

The program consists of three core practical modules:
Basics of Refinish (apprentice training program conducted over four modules)
Advanced Car Painting (speciality training conducted over four modules)
Non-Painter Awareness

All repairers will be trained in PPG’s most advanced low energy repair methods, ensuring that bodyshops are at the forefront of sustainably advantageous repairs.
