Best known for it’s motorcycle products, France-based Motul also produces a range of products for automotive use, and is original fill on certain low-volume brands including Brabus. The firm brought the first fully synthetic car oil to market in 1971.
Motul joins Schaeffler Group, Boge, Hella, Sachs, ZF and others in the group which was established to set a line of distinction between OE producers with aftermarket ranges, and purely aftermarket brands. However, it is the first lubricant producer to be included in the membership.
Country Manager Callum Goodland said: “We aim to be a proactive member, so we would like to be involved with OESAA’s training projects and the other industry events in which it participates. We have a lot of messages and information to communicate to both distributors and workshop technicians, which will prove invaluable in both the short and long-term”
