With a proven and impressive track record of mentoring and leading sales teams, Addison also brings to his new role sixteen years of oil, lubricant and grease industry experience to call upon. His focus will be to coach the team of Area Sales Managers so that they can continue to deliver exceptional customer service to customers spanning the length and width of Great Britain.
Addison has always aspired to work for Morris Lubricants “due to their absolute and no compromise attitude towards product quality.” He adds: “This is reinforced by their close ties with the UKLA and the VLS. The appointment underlines the ambitions at Morris Lubricants, which supplies nationally and internationally to over 90 countries worldwide, by employing talented individuals that understand the company’s ethos of providing industry leading oil, lubricants and greases as well as unparalleled customer support.

Distributed across the UK, the field sales team work remotely. As lockdown restrictions are now eased, Addison will oversee a safe return to on-site visits for both the Morris Lubricants team and their customers.
“To keep everyone safe, we will follow all legal requirements,” he says. “We respect our customers. If they require us to do something – whether it’s wearing full PPE or carrying out a lateral flow test before we arrive and providing evidence of the result – we will do it. We will build our relationships online, over the phone and in person.”
Also critical to success will be maintaining good relationships with the Morris Lubricants client base, “We want to understand a customer requirement and their business needs at an in-depth level so we can help them. As soon as we understand that, it becomes a business partnership, and a much better relationship.”
