Speaking of the appointment, JLM founder and CEO Gilbert Groot said:
“We have been looking for the right person to join our team in this capacity for some time now. As a growing brand we operate in 45 countries through our international distributor network. Despite the pandemic putting the brakes on face-to-face contact, our distributors nevertheless recorded record sales which is good news for all. However, time stands still for no one so we must continue to evolve and grow if we are to maintain our trade trusted reputation which is the cornerstone of our brand.
Our standing with the professional motor mechanic has been key to our growth in the last decade. So, appointing an international sales manager to spread the JLM ‘magic’ further afield was the next logical step. But it was no easy task. We were looking for a person that would bring international experience and demonstrable expertise gained in the automotive aftermarket to the table. A person that could complement our values and understand what defines our brand and what differentiates it from competitors.
It was a long search encompassing several countries but after talking to Jeroen it was clear within just a few conversations that he was the right person for the role.”
Speaking of his appointment, Schutz said:
“The time is right for me personally and professionally to make this career defining move, so I am delighted to bring to the table my experience in international sales. I am looking forward to meeting the rest of the JLM team and getting started.”
“Jeroen will be introducing JLM Lubricants to several countries including those where he already has an established and proven track record. Exciting times for sure so watch this space!” concluded Groot.
